About MGMH

Music Gets Me High was formed in 2007 in India by Ritnika Nayan as an artist management & bookings agency. Over the last nearly two decades the company has evolved from management, to live events and festivals to music education and international consultancy. The company has consulted on various festivals and large scale events like Lollapalooza India, Bandland Festival, Guns & Roses India tour, Ziro music festival and so on.

MGMH also runs MGMH Sound Station; the oldest and biggest rehearsal studios in New Delhi along with MGMH Academy that has set up the only music business management course in India in association with Sri Aurobindo centre for arts & communication. The academy conducts workshops at all prominent music institutions across the country in order to educate artists on the basics of music business.

About Ritnika Nayan

Ritnika Nayan is a leading figure in India’s independent music industry with over two decades of experience across live music, artist management, education, and global music distribution. She began her career at Hofstra University, New York, organizing concerts for artists like Maroon 5 and Nickelback, and later earned a Master’s in Music Business Management from the University of Westminster, London. After working in live music promotion and management in the UK, she returned to India to launch Music Gets Me High (MGMH), a multi-service music company that has worked with top artists and events such as Guns N’ Roses, Manu Chao, Goo Goo Dolls, Avenged Sevenfold, Nucleya, Lollapalooza India, Bandland and SulaFest. Ritnika is also the author of Indie 101 and HUB, and the founder of India’s only Music Business Management Certificate course at SACAC. She has spoken at TEDx, ADE, EARS, and global music conferences, and has been recognized by the British Council, Indiafrica, and the University of Westminster for her contributions to the creative industry. From 2020–2023, she served as Country Head, India for Downtown Music Holdings (CD Baby, FUGA, Songtrust) and consulted from 2023 -2025 for global companies like DistroDirect and Group Speed on India strategy.
