What is a UPC code? and why do I need it?

A UPC code is a universal product code or barcode you see on any sale item. One UPC/ Barcode is issued for each point of sale. So for 1 single you will get 1 UPC code and for 1 album you will get 1 UPC code. You need to know the UPC code, if you’re switching distributors so you can use the same barcode.
