Groove is the music Distribution & Marketing wing of the renowned music & entertainment company Music Gets Me High. A dynamic player in the Indian distribution ecosystem, Groove has made significant strides by announcing a series of strategic partnerships aimed at empowering artists and labels. These collaborations include partnerships with Snafu for offering advances, partnerships with Group Speed for offering global playlist pitching, DSP tie ups and TikTok management and more. These initiatives reflect MGMH Groove's commitment to revolutionizing artist services and helping artists grow to the next level.

Music Gets Me High
Music Gets Me High was formed in 2007 in India by Ritnika Nayan as an artist management & bookings agency. Over the last nearly two decades the company has evolved from management, to live events and festivals to music education and international consultancy. The company has consulted on various festivals and large scale events like Lollapalooza India, Bandland Festival, Guns & Roses India tour, Ziro music festival and so on.
MGMH also runs MGMH Sound Station; the oldest and biggest rehearsal studios in New Delhi along with MGMH Academy that has set up the only music business management course in India in association with Sri Aurobindo centre for arts & communication. The academy conducts workshops at all prominent music institutions across the country in order to educate artists on the basics of music business.

About Ritnika Nayan

Ritnika Nayan started her musical career in 2001 at Hofstra University, New York, where she worked in the concerts division of the University for four years. During this time, she organized shows for artists like Maroon 5, Nickelback, Counting Crows to name a few and dealt in various parts of the Live music sector ranging from Tickets, Advertising, Production and Finances. In 2006, Ritnika moved to London to pursue her Masters in Music Business management from Westminster University. She worked as a promoter in London for a year managing concerts at venues like the Troubadour, 100 club, Borderline and Nambucca. After a Brief work stint at Sincere management (Peter Jenner), Ritnika moved to India to set up her music company that deals with artist management, live concerts, consultancy as well as operates a rehearsal studio in Delhi. In 2008, the British council named Ritnika ‘Young Music Entrepreneur’ runner up and in 2018 they chose her as a finalist for the UK Alumni entrepreneur Award.
Ritnika is strong advocate for local music and believes the Indian music industry needs to be at par with the international world. Ritnika is an active member of music conferences worldwide include Music expo, Electron festival, WOMEX, All about Music, ADE and has spoken at two Tedx talks. She has been featured in various publications including Femina, Elle, Time Out Delhi, Hindustan Times, Mid day, Sunday Guardian & Indian Express and was named one of the ‘Top Guns of India’ by India Today Aspire Magazine. She has released two books on music – Hub and Indie 101. In 2019 Ritnika won the contribution to creative industry award by University of Westminster, UK and set up India’s only certification course in Music Business. She was also named Country Lead, India for Downtown Music Holdings, representing CD Baby, Fuga, Songtrust, Downtown Music Services, Adrev & found.ee in India from 2020 – 2023. She is currently also consulting with the Australian distribution and marketing company DistroDirect and Group Speed for India.
